I was in the middle of a disability appeal and having a really hard time figuring out how to show some of the more invisible aspects of my disabilities, especially cognitive fatigue, migraines, and how much recovery I need after doing things that might look manageable in the moment. Dr. Hai did an excellent job of capturing all of that in his evaluation and report. He didn't just look at how I performed on testing, but also what it took out of me to do the testing, the breaks I needed, the migraines I developed after cognitive effort, and how long it took me to recover afterward. Those were things I'd had a really hard time getting across to the people reviewing my disability claim, and I felt like his report finally showed a much more accurate picture of what my functioning actually looks like. His report ended up being an important part of my disability appeal, which was approved. I also really appreciated how accommodating he was throughout the testing process. I have multiple disabilities and needed frequent breaks because of migraines and cognitive fatigue, as well as accommodations for sensory sensitivities, and I never felt like I was being difficult or inconveniencing him by asking for what I needed. I’m nonbinary and he was also very affirming and respectful of my identity. I felt really comfortable with him, which isn't something I take for granted with medical providers. I'm really grateful for how much care he put into my evaluation and would absolutely recommend him, especially to other disabled, neurodivergent, and LGBTQ+ people in my community.Posted on Google A GTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been working with Dr. Daniel Hai for some time now, and I can honestly say that his support has been life-changing. When I first started therapy, I was struggling with trauma, overwhelming anxiety, and the challenges of managing a bipolar diagnosis. Dr. Hai created a safe, non-judgmental space where I felt truly seen and heard—something I had never experienced before. Through our sessions, he helped me unpack and process deep emotional wounds with compassion and patience. His approach has not only helped me understand myself better but also empowered me to develop healthier coping strategies and build emotional resilience. With his guidance, I’ve made progress I never thought possible my anxiety has become manageable, and I’ve found more stability and clarity in living with bipolar disorder. Dr. Hai’s empathy, professionalism, and dedication to his work have made all the difference in my healing journey. I am incredibly grateful for his care and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for genuine, effective therapeutic support.Posted on Google K ETrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was treated by him several years ago at Creative Care dealing with debilitating addiction and serious mental health issues. He was an incredibly relatable and caring resource for me to help pick up the pieces of my life and start fresh. With his help I have become an outstanding member of my community as a creative and an entrepreneur and have had the pleasure of becoming a proud husband and father to a beautiful baby girl. Thanks to Dr. Hai for all the incredible work that he has done!Posted on Google E GTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I learned so many great skills from Dr. Daniel Hai that I still use to this day, years after moving back to the midwest. He is great at getting to root issues from the past, helping get through and learn to manage current symptoms and giving tools to succeed in the future.Posted on Google E STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our 18yo daughter has struggled with depression and anxiety since middle school. She has always had to work extra hard in school to focus and get her studies done. She has seen many therapists over the years but has not been receptive to many of them. After a breakdown and realizing the need for more intensive therapy, she met Dr. Daniel Hai while in residential treatment. He was truly a Godsend. Dr. Hai treated her with respect and dignity but was also very straightforward and honest in his approach. For the first time, our daughter really dug into her issues and opened up. Dr. Hai made her feel validated, understood, but also willing to take responsibility for her actions and to have a plan to move forward and heal.Load more
